Notices Phillis Meti takes world golfing title The first-year AUT sport and recreation student became the youngest woman to win golf’s World Long Drive championships, with a drive of 326 yards. Phillis, of Cook Islands descent, has played golf since she was 12 at Swanson’s Redwood Park, where her father is a member. She plays off a 2-handicap and her powerful swing has already proved an asset to the strong North Harbour women’s interprovincial team.
